Years ago, someone told me that it was impossible to live without kidneys. "Really?" said I. "Well then, I guess I'm a figment of my own imagination." Life is different without the benefit of functional kidneys but, still, it's life albeit a "still life". Eventually though, just like everyone elses bodies, our's also will give up the ghost.

The people listed below, from 1992 until the present, were a part of our community but are no longer with us.  Some last names I never knew; some I've forgotten. This list isn't complete. Once in a while someone pops into my mind that I forget has gone on to the great bloodletting in the sky. It seems odd that I could forget the names of even one of these precious people.

One of our nurses/care-givers/friends was stricken in the prime of her life. Word of her passing  saddened all of us. I'm sorry I never got to tell her how much I appreciated her. Debbie Rose, we miss you. Your valliant battle with cancer inspires and humbles me. Hakuna Matata, Deb.
It' s "The Circle of Life", no doubt about it.
